CASE 1: COMMERCIAL BUILDING

LOCATION

Quezon City, Philippines

WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM

Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR)

WASTEWATER GENERATION / CAPACITY

300 cu.m per day

The commercial building is located in Quezon City with a Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) wastewater treatment system. It has an influent flow of 300 cu.m. per day of domestic waste.

Problems:

Ammonia and Phosphate Effluent Levels do not pass the DENR Limit Standards.

Our Solution:

MICROBE-LIFT/IND (Hi-Count) is used to address the failed effluent parameters of the commercial building. MICROBE-LIFT/IND a highly active liquid culture consortium designed specifically for use in practically all environmental applications. Microbe-Lift IND select cultures promotes increased biological degradation capabilities in all types of designs of biological wastewater systems, lagoons and polluted environments. Microbe-Lift IND consortium is very effective in degrading hard to degrade complex compounds such as fatty acids, various chemical compounds, hydrocarbons and fibrous matters that indigenous bacteria often unable to degrade them, hence result in system performance deficiency.

Results and Technical Data:

Laboratory Analysis:

Summary and Conclusion:

The following concerned parameters had the following reduction rates just by using Microbe-Lift IND in just one month:

Nitrate:57.66% reduction rate (1.24 ppm to 0.525 ppm)

Phosphate:78.09% reduction rate (4.61 ppm to 1.01 ppm)

Ammonia:93.37 % reduction rate (4.7 ppm to 0.0299 ppm)

CASE 2: RETAIL MALL

LOCATION

San Mateo, Rizal, Philippines

WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM

Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) with Lift Station

WASTEWATER GENERATION / CAPACITY

Lift Station: 40.45 cu.m.

This client is a known retail mall under the supermarket category. This branch is located in San Mateo, Rizal province wherein their wastewater treatment system consist of a lifting station before the Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR).

Problems:

The problems encountered by this retail mall are its Oil and grease treatment and liquefaction on primary holding tank (pre-treatment). They also wanted to have a better biological treatment operation on SBR aeration tanks.

Our Solution:

MICROBE-LIFT/IND (Hi-Count) and MICROBE-LIFT/DGTT are used to address the failed effluent parameters of the commercial building.

MICROBE-LIFT/DGTT is designed specifically to rapidly degrade Fats, Oils and Grease in wastewater systems, including all forms of grease traps, waste sumps, re-circulation cleaning systems, storage lagoons and wastewater biological systems. MICROBE-LIFT/DGTT is a highly active microbial-based formulation that contains proprietary cultures that are extremely effective in dealing with overloaded FOG systems.

Results and Technical Data:

(From Left to Right) Day 1 of the Lifting Station of the Retail Mall; Day 32 of the Lifting Station of the Retail Mall after using Microbe-Lift IND and DGTT

Laboratory Analysis:

Parameters for DAO 2016-08 Units Nov. 19, 2019 Jan. 15, 2020 DAO 2016-08 Limits
Oil and Grease mg/L 414.7 2.5 5
Ammonia mg/L 16.948 15.334 0.5
Nitrate mg/L 5.151 0.212 14
Phosphate mg/L 15.250 15.007 1
Surfactant 1.736 0.391 15

Summary and Conclusion:

The reduction of Oil and Grease after 2 months of application of Microbe-Lift IND and Microbe-Lift DGTT is 99.4% as also visible in visual documentation.

CASE 3: MANUFACTURING PLANT

LOCATION

Dasmarinas, Cavite, Philippines

WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM

Septic Tank Units: Anoxic Tank and Effluent Tank

WASTEWATER GENERATION

Domestic Waste

A manufacturing plant located in Dasmarinas, Cavite that generates domestic wastewater. Its wastewater treatment system are septic tanks which are anoxic and effluent tanks.

Problems:

These manufacturing plant seek assistance to address their wastewater being in a septic conditions and their failed effluent compliance.

Our Solution:

MICROBE-LIFT/IND (Hi-Count) and MICROBE-LIFT/DGTT are used to address the failed effluent parameters of the commercial building.

MICROBE-LIFT/IND a highly active liquid culture consortium designed specifically for use in practically all environmental applications. Results and Technical Data:

After just 1 week of Microbe-Lift application, visible results are already seen. Clearer wastewater than from its previous condition which is in septic condition. Also, there are minimal to no scum spotted in the tanks and little to no bubbles.

Laboratory Analysis:

Summary and Conclusion:

The reduction of each parameter is impressive already after 1 month of application of Microbe-Lift products as observed through getting the influent and effluent levels. After the second month, most of the reduction rates of any parameter increased. Continuous dosing of Microbe-Lift products in any wastewater treatment system, together with proper operation and maintenance, can aid in producing promising results in the systems.
